Downtown Penthouse

The Downtown Penthouse, on the top two floors of a luxury condominium in downtown Seattle, is one of GCID's most substantial projects to date. The client, a successful technology entrepreneur, wanted a distinctive, private Seattle home where he could stay and entertain while in town for business. That meant completely transforming the large and dated residence into a sophisticated and luxurious home with straight clean lines, open spaces for entertaining, original furniture and a commanding art collection.

Collaborating alongside architects Olson Sundberg Kundig Allen the GCID team reconfigured the condominium's floor plan to take advantage of the commanding 270 degree views of Seattle's Skyline and Elliot Bay. Custom designed furniture, made from unique materials and rich woods such as teak, afromosia and mahogany, warm the modern space.

The soft neutral color palette and floor to ceiling windows complete the homes sense of sophistication and serenity.
